Electoral Roll

Every year, each Church of England parish church is required to prepare an ‘electoral roll’.

This is a list of regular worshippers at the church who are

  1. are over 16;

  2. are baptised; and

  3. who reside in the parish or attend worship regularly (at least monthly).

The Electoral Roll is just one measure of church size and membership, and is reported to the central bodies of the Church of England to help with church statistics.
 Members of the Electoral Roll are also eligible to vote for representatives on the PCC (church council) as well as for Deanery Synod representatives.

We encourage everyone who is eligible to join the Electoral Roll – it's very simple, and it helps to demonstrate the growth of our church.

Existing members of the Electoral Roll will receive an email invitation to review their membership during February and March. They can renew their membership or request to be removed from the roll. (If members do not respond they will be left on the roll for a further year.)
